Geoff Sakala is a digital marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in new media, digital advertising, and technology. Geoff studied Business Administration and Management Information Systems at Sacramento State and while a student was elected as Student Body President. After college, Geoff elected to serve four years in the US Army. Upon returning from station overseas in Germany and a yearlong deployment to Iraq, Geoff took a position with EdFund (now ECMC), a higher education student loan provider, in their IT and project management department and rose to the position of Director.
In 2011, Geoff founded ClickSpring, a digital communications agency, specializing in social media community management and digital advertising to serve other agencies and clients directly. To date, ClickSpring has grown to support many clients across California. Geoff is an active member of the Program Advisory Committee for the Art Institutes of California and frequently mentors and lends his expertise to the Graphic & Web Design and Advertising programs for the Sacramento campus.
